Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, October 21, reveals that after knocking out Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson), Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) explained that the doc altered the DNA results.
“Abigail DiMera” aka Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) confirmed she wasn’t Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) deceased wife and that Mark was her brother.
Once fake Abby was alone with Chad, she insisted Clyde Weston (James Read) was to blame for the scheme and assured Chad that she developed real feelings for him.
After faux Abigail offered details on Clyde’s motives and how she duped Chad, she swore she didn’t know Clyde had ordered Mark to eliminate him.
Chad ranted about having to grieve Abigail all over again, but an apologetic fake Abby insisted Clyde used her hostage mother as leverage and threatened her life.
Chad was skeptical of anything out of faux Abby’s mouth at this point and didn’t even know who this woman was.
She revealed that her name was Cat, which was short for Catharina – a name she shared with her mother.
Since Chad was still fuming over Cat’s deception, he vowed to make her pay!
Next on Monday’s Days episode, Steve found some rope and used it to tie up unconscious Mark. JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) ultimately returned and heard how Mark came after Chad earlier.
JJ also learned Mark was part of the Abigail fraud plot, so he got confirmation that his sister wasn’t really back following her demise.
Once Mark came to, Steve informed him that the truth was out.
At the hospital on Monday’s Days episode, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) had a catch-up session.
Kayla and Marlena discussed Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) release along with all the phony Abigail drama.
There was also some talk about John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and how weird it was for him to be kidnapped from Catharina Meleounis’ (last played by Ellie Patrikios) grave before ending up in Poplar Bluff.
At the DiMera mansion on Monday’s DOOL show, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) pushed Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) to hand over the serum for Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) since Brady was a free man.
Kristen called Brady to confirm he was off the hook now that Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) had been arrested, but she refused to surrender the paralysis cure.
Xander protested since he helped Sarah fight for Brady’s freedom, but Kristen acted like Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) deserved the credit.
However, Kristen was willing to hand over the serum if Xander gave her Titan.
Xander complained, but Kristen stood her ground and acted like it’d be worth it to Xander if Sarah could walk again.
Meanwhile, Sarah apologized to Brady for giving the false statement that got him arrested, but he forgave her.
Brady figured out that Sarah did it to protect him from Xander’s fatal revenge and eventually heard about the serum Kristen was offering.
Later, Brady made his way to the DiMera mansion and wondered if Kristen was going to give Sarah the cure. Kristen felt certain the deal she’d proposed to Xander would work out.
Once Xander met up with Sarah on Monday’s Days episode, he admitted Kristen wanted his family legacy in exchange for the serum.
