In FBI: Most Wanted episode, FBI Special Agent Ray Cannon Jr. loves his family. He was trying to convince his stepson to play football. The whole family played football in high school and Ray wanted to pass it on to Caleb. Caleb was still a freshman, but it gives him time to find his place in the world.
He has four years to decide what he wants to be. Some kids didn’t need that long. There were two girls that abducted Zach Stolowitz. The boy was considered to be a loser. He went with the girls because they promised to bring him to a massive party and it was all a ruse to kidnap him.
Zach’s car was found abandoned by the road. He wasn’t answering his cell phone. His parents haven’t seen him and so they informed the police. The police brought in the FBI because they weren’t sure what happened. Or if Zach was taken out of state. Zach has been missing for a day at that point.
His parents said he wasn’t into heavy drugs. He drank here and there. He might have smoked pot. He was a kid exploring. He was now a kid that was missing. His best friend last saw him at school.
Will Haggerty said he couldn’t hang out with Zach that day because he had to study. His father got him a SAT tutor. Only he wasn’t being honest with the FBI. Remy felt the kid was hiding something. Hana later found images of when Zach was last seen and he was in the company of two girls.
They were identified as Brooke Perkins and Caitlyn Baker. They were juniors at the same high school. They told their parents that they were going on a weekend trip together. Where they didn’t have cell service. The girls actually abducted Zach.
They did that because they wanted revenge. Zach was a computer wiz. He doctored photos of Maria Tomassi as a favor to his best friend and those photos made the girl kill herself. Now her best friends want revenge. They abducted Zach. They now want him to use his computer skills to bring Will down.
The FBI found out about this from one of the kids at school. Zach was actually friendly with Brooke and Caitlyn before the incident. Then he created deepfakes of Maria. He made photos appear as if Maria took nudes of herself. It circled throughout the whole school. Maria’s younger brother saw them.
The brother was a year younger than Maria. He went to their parents with the photos. The parents thought that Maria took them and they refused to hear her out when she said it was fake.
It was after this huge fight that Maria killed herself. Her parents blame themselves. Her friends blamed Zach and Will. The friends had Zach create deep fakes of Will. They were all sexual. It will follow Will his whole adult life. It just wasn’t enough for Brooke. Caitlyn was fine with embarrassing Will. It was Brooke that wanted more.
Brooke was even trolling both Will as his rich father. She felt the dad protected Will. Both Will and Zach were suspended for three days for bullying and Maria’s death didn’t change anything.
Brooke planned this revenge. She demanded that Zach make a deep fake porn video of himself with Will. Brooke wanted that as an insurance policy. They were going to let Zach go after he created the video, but then the real estate agent stopped by the house. Zach called out for help and Brooke knocked him unconscious.
Zach was bleeding from a headwound. He wasn’t breathing. Things have gone way pass what’s acceptable and then someone created a deep fake of Remy.
They made a video of Remy that claimed Maria’s suicide had nothing to do with bullying. The fake said she was sexually abused by a priest and has always suffered from mental health. Remy heard that last one before. It came from Will’s dad. The dad demanded that feds do something now it was his kid getting bullied and Remy swore to him that he will go after Will for Maria’s suicide.
Remy still got in trouble with his bosses. FBI SAC Isobel Castille said the Attorney General and the Vatican have now gotten involved. The deepfake video was trending worldwide.
No one was sure if it was even illegal. Remy couldn’t do anything about the deepfake. He just has to wait for his bosses to come up with a plan. The FBI meanwhile found where the girls had taken Zach. They unfortunately were too late to save Zach. The girls put his unconscious body in the back of their car. They went to school with him in the trunk and that’s when Will showed up.
Will knows it them that made Zach do the videos. He grabbed his dad’s gun. He took both Brooke and Caitlyn hostage. He threatened to kill them if they didn’t bring him to Zach.
They were going to drive him around in circles, but then the feds showed up. They were driving behind Caitlyn’s car. They told her to pull over and the others didn’t want that to happen.
Will called his dad. He told his dad that he has his gun and so his dad told him to give himself up to the feds. And he even called Remy to tell him not to hurt Will.
Caitlyn stopped the car. The girls got arrested. Will got arrested. Then the feds found Zach in the trunk. He was dead and his killers were going down for murder. And Will might also face charges because of the situation with Maria.
But Ray’s stepson has been pretending to go to football practice. He’s been doing something else and lying about it. He just didn’t say anything because he didn’t want to let Ray or his dad down. Ray was still getting used to being a dad. He’s lucky that he can learn from this. And stop pressuring Caleb to be like him.
