The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 19, reveals that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) felt certain that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) wouldn’t notice anything was amiss with the LLC paperwork since they trusted him to make sure everything was in order.
It left Carter torn about whether he should betray that trust and take over Forrester Creations.
Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) could see that Carter was struggling since he’d always valued loyalty, but she argued that sometimes that loyalty could be misplaced.
Although Hope felt they’d tried hard to play by the rules, she didn’t think it mattered when the game was always designed for the Forresters to win.
Hope even went as far as suggesting that the Forresters only shut down Carter’s international luxury brand proposal because they didn’t think of it first.
Hope also felt that Carter could be out of a job if he continued supporting the Logans, so Carter ultimately said they had to defend themselves.
However, Carter decided he’d try one more time to get through to Ridge and Steffy.
If that didn’t work, Carter made a prediction about following through on his takeover plan.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy continued to bicker with Katie Logan (Heather Tom) about the press release until Ridge interrupted.
Ridge just wished this whole mess with Hope never happened, so Steffy worried he was starting to shift his opinion by listening to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
After Ridge highlighted what a big deal Hope’s departure was, he told Katie to wait on putting out the press release. Once Katie left, Steffy said it sounded like Ridge was supporting Hope and Brooke.
Although Ridge assured Steffy that he had her back, she didn’t seem so sure.
Carter eventually popped up to once again push Steffy and Ridge to reinstate Hope along with her line.
Steffy acted like Hope’s firing would be old news soon after they announced it.
When Carter insisted this was personal, Steffy said he was “damn right” it was personal – though she added it was also about business since she couldn’t work with someone untrustworthy.
Carter maintained that this was all a misunderstanding and pushed Ridge to back him up on this.
According to Carter, Forrester Creations would never be the same without Hope and her line.
Carter warned that Steffy and Ridge needed to make things right since they had no idea what was at stake if they didn’t.
At the cliff house on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Brooke showed up to see John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Finn knew why Brooke was there and said Ridge was there earlier too since he wanted to talk about how “out of control” Hope was.
Brooke gaped in shock over that comment and insisted what happened in the design office was an accident.
Since this was all a misunderstanding, Brooke assured Finn that Hope wasn’t interested in him and was moving in a different direction entirely.
Although Brooke acknowledged that Hope made a mistake kissing Finn at Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) party, she didn’t think her daughter should be punished indefinitely.
Brooke also pointed out that Steffy had made mistakes of her own, so Finn suggested disparaging his wife wouldn’t help her win this argument.
Nevertheless, Brooke felt that firing Hope could backfire with the press, so she pushed Finn to talk to Steffy and convince her to fix this before it was too late.
At the cabin, Hope was flashing back to romantic moments with Carter when Brooke walked in. Brooke said she went to see Finn and gave Hope updates on how the conversation went.
After Brooke pointed out that she told Finn he needed to convince Steffy before it was too late, Hope agreed and echoed the idea.
