The Young and the Restless Friday, December 20 Recap: Sharon Reveals Gloved Intruder, Jordan & Ian Kiss Passionately

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, December 20, reveals that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will continue talking to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) about her latest hypnosis session.

After Sharon remembers a hand touched her, she’ll determine that someone else was there that night – someone wearing gloves.

Although Sharon won’t know if it was a man or a woman, she’ll realize they must’ve already been in the apartment before her confrontation with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) happened.

Nick will speculate that maybe this person followed Sharon there.

It’ll lead to suspicions that Sharon’s tainted pills, Heather’s demise and Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) crash are all connected.

Michael will point out that they need real proof to back up Sharon’s memories, but he’ll plan to contact Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and get the ball rolling on the next steps of the investigation.

Once Sharon is alone with Nick, she’ll admit she’s afraid to get her hopes up about this nightmare being over.

Nick will offer reassurance and pull Sharon into a warm embrace.

At home, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) won’t be feeling up to Christmas decorating this year, but Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will bring a tree in and suggest it could help them feel closer to Heather.

After Daniel calls Phyllis and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) for backup, they’ll make fun of Daniel’s terrible decorating skills.

Lucy will finally warm up to the idea of helping and will suggest making wishes as they hang the final ornaments.

When it’s time for Phyllis’ wish, she’ll talk about justice for Heather and express a desire for her to rest in peace while the culprit’s punished.

At Society, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will be hopeful about Sharon’s resurfacing memories, but she won’t want to jinx it.

Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will insist it’s OK to have faith and hope for a Christmas miracle or two.

After Mariah leaves on Friday’s Y&R episode, Ian Ward (Ray Wise) will mosey up to the bar and act excited over his first time in the restaurant.

After Ian introduces himself as Warren Masters, he’ll tell Tessa that he’s a chaplain in the state prison system.

Tessa will introduce herself as well and confirm that the woman Ian saw her with was her wife.

Once Tessa mentions Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle), Ian will gush over the magical name and ask to see a photo.

Ian will talk about how blessed Tessa and Mariah are, so Tessa will clearly think he’s a charming fellow. Tessa will also discuss Ian’s work with him and suggest it must be very rewarding.

Later, Mariah will meet back up with Tessa, who’ll offer updates on the sweet prison chaplain she met.

Tessa will point out that if this were a Christmas movie, this guy would be an angel who needed to earn his wings.

At the motel, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will think back on the early days of her partnership with Ian, who confessed to her that he embraced the hatred in his heart.

Jordan will also recall how Ian offered Jordan a way out of the slammer as their vengeful alliance deepened.

After Jordan pours herself a couple drinks and has some flashbacks, Ian will return.

That’ll lead to Jordan singing Ian’s praises and suggesting he’s the trustworthy man she’s been waiting on all her life.

There’ll be some talk about the dying woman who agreed to take Jordan’s place in prison in exchange for financial support for her family.

Ian will let Jordan know he appreciates her as well, but she’ll voice concerns about the police and busybodies who might interfere in their plan.

Jordan will point out that everything has to go precisely, but Ian will feel confident about what’s ahead.

Once Ian makes a prediction about getting everything they want, he’ll kiss Jordan passionately as they sit on the bed.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jordan and Ian’s partnership will come with more curveballs, so don’t miss all the wild news to come!
