The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has been one of the most important figures of the modern monarchy. Her stomach is being scrutinized on a daily basis by media outlets, royalists, and tired fans. Everyone has the same plan – they want to be the first to see the baby bump and make the announcement that the future Queen of England is producing an heir to the throne. Whenever Kate appears in public, a thousand little articles and posts pop up on the internet about the rumoured bun in the oven. “If you observe the subject closely, you’ll witness a small curvature in the lower abdomen. This is clearly indicative of a little person,” ring the opening lines. It’s become a type of phenomenon on the World Wide Web, and many refer to it as modern day bird watching.
Kate and her husband, Prince William, will be making a massive announcement next month and might put these alleged baby rumours to rest once and for all. This upcoming announcement has also sparked intense media scrutiny and iPad clutching, as millions and millions of entertainment writers are preparing their drafts for the baby announcement. According to a New Idea magazine interview, Jessica Hay, a former roommate of Kate and an attendee at the couple’s wedding ceremony, broke the much anticipated news in the interview.
“They’re planning to make an announcement in December. William and Kate are focused on starting a family,” she revealed. Kate’s BFF is not only a tattle tale, but also an inside source regarding the future baby planning. “It seems very traditional, but of course they’ll be happy with boys or two girls, they don’t want more,” she explained. Luckily for William and Kate, they won’t have to make a boy to assume the throne, because a recent watershed moment changed the cemented rules of succession – a girl will also now be allowed to assume the throne and become the Queen of England. Hay concluded, “They’ve discussed it endlessly and don’t want to be older parents.”
Could this be it? Could this announcement be the one we’ve been waiting for? Come December, we might be singing a lullaby. Do you think it’s a baby announcement, or do you think it’s something a bit more bland and boring? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
