It would seem as though Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be spending New Year’s Eve together after celebrating the Christmas holiday apart. Twitter was the first to tout the exclusive news that Kristen was seen at LAX in Los Angeles. She was getting ready to board a plane on Thursday evening. Some guessed that her final destination spot was London’s Heathrow Airport. Even Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am. got into the play by play by tweeting:
“I hope I don’t see any vampires or werewolves on this flight because the homegirl from #TWILIGHT is sitting across from me #protectYOURneck.”
Some Twilight fans would tell Robert to protect his guard with a wooden stake and leave Kristen behind. If she is flying across the pond, it’s highly doubtful that it’s to spend time with Queen Elizabeth. It stands to reason that Kristen’s made the voyage at Robert’s beck and call. The heart wants what it wants and Kristen still has a hold on Robert’s despite cheating on him with director Rupert Sanders, but that’s so 2012 at this point.
If she hasn’t been put in a paddy wagon for the high crime of cheating on her beloved Edward, he’s not going to do with a few days left on the calendar. The Gossip Gods have already been too generous this year with the Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes split. Asking for more would be too greedy even if a Robsten split would bring a smile to many faces.
Kristen may never be forgiven by the legion of Twilight fans who are still foaming at the mouth with outrage, but her cup has overflowed with Robert’s kindness. She has every reason to raise a glass of crimson and toast to a new year with her beau. He hasn’t said good riddance to her. Yet. Robert could have an epiphany in 2013.
