NBC’s popular drama PARENTHOOD returns tonight with a whole new episode and the season finale. Tonight’s 15th episode of the 4th season is called “Because You’re My Sister.” On tonight’s show Drew (Miles Heizer) learns the results of his college applications. To catch you up on last week’s show Victor’s adoption deadline drew near, Julia and Joel contemplated the long term effects of this decision. Renee oversteped her boundaries and intruded on Crosby and Jasmine. Upon advice offered by Zeek and Amber, Ryan sought to make amends with Joel. Meanwhile, Mark and Sarah discussed their relationship, concerning Hank. Kristina supported Maxwith a unique campaign.
In the fourth season finale, Jasmine (Joy Bryant) and Crosby (Dax Shepard) plan an anniversary get away and receive exciting news. Kristina (Monica Potter) and Adam (Peter Krause) prepare for the next phase of her treatment. Drew (Miles Heizer) learns the results of his college applications. Amber (Mae Whitman) and Ryan (Matt Lauria) discuss the future of their relationship. Joel (Sam Jaeger) and Julia (Erika Christensen) plan an event for the entire Braverman family. Meanwhile, Sarah (Lauren Graham) is forced to make a decision about her relationships with Mark (Jason Ritter) and Hank (Ray Romano). Also starring Craig T. Nelson, Bonnie Bedelia, Max Burkholder, Xolo Mariduena, Tyree Brown and Savannah Paige Rae.

Recap: Its morning and Crosby brings up the subject about spending the night at a hotel and going out to a really nice expensive French restaurant for their anniversary and Jasmine is thrilled. One problem, Crosby wants Jasmine’s to babysit and he reminds him that he didn’t apologize to her. Just then, Jasmine’s mom walks in and announces that she is moving out to her brother’s house.
At work, Hank tell Sarah that he has to go to Minnesota for Ruby, something about school and he’ll be gone for two days.
Kristina is at the doctors, all I good and she is clear but the doctor wants her to have a pet scan because of some minor abnormalities in her blood and it could just be from the drugs.
Julia and Joel want to celebrate Victor being adopted but Syd wants nothing to do with it.
Ryan drops by to see Amber and tells her that he loves her.
Back at the hospital, Kristina is there for her last treatment and she is thrilled. But her good mood doesn’t last long when there is another patient there that has had a relapse.
Mark goes over to see Sarah, he tells her that he has been thinking a lot about them and he still loves her, will always lover her because she Is the one for him. He apologizes for not fighting for her, but he is now and really believes that he is the guy that can make her happy.
Zeek, Camille and Sarah are in the kitchen, Drew walks in and announces that he got accepted to Berkeley.
Julia and Joel are shopping with Victor for a suit and tie for his big celebration.
Adam and Kristina are sharing a bottle of wine and toast each other. Adam gives Kristina an envelope, it’s a trip to Hawaii but sadly, she is not happy about because she has no guarantees and could have a relapse just like Gwen at the hospital. Kristina wants Adam to cancel the trip until she goes for the scan.
The next day, Kristina walks into the room with a hot pink wig and apologizes to Adam – the two start making out and Crosby walks in and calls it “afternoon delight with strawberry shortcake”.
Sarah goes to the school and she tells Mark that she is going to try and make it work with Hank, she has to get her life together and can never explain how much she loves him, but she is going to make it work with Hank. Mark is clearly upset and doesn’t know what to say.
At home, Victor is running in the house and breaks a vase – he offers to pay for it and Julia tells him that is not necessary, she just wants him to go back to the “no football in the house” rule.
Drew goes over to see his girlfriend and tells her that he has been accepted to Berkely, meanwhile she was news of her own, she is going to school in Boston. Wow, baby gone and so is the relationship – that was fast.
Amber goes over to see Ryan and tells her that she was in a car accident and was drinking at the time and what she is really trying to say is that she loves him and wants him to responsible for that. Ryan tells her that there is so much in his life that doesn’t make sense, but they do.
Victor goes into Sydney’s room and tells her that he wants her to go to his adoption ceremony because she is his sister and she says fine.
Jasmine and Crosby are at dinner and she seem distracted, he tell him that she is worried about her mother. Crosby on the other hand thinks that her mother moving in with her brother is good thing, his shouldering the responsibility. Jasmine hates that her mother doesn’t feel welcome in their home and tells Crosby that they are going to need her help when the baby comes. Crosby is shocked to learn that Jasmine is pregnant. The two leave dinner and head over to her brother’s house, they brought food and find the two playing Scrabble and her brother is cheating. Crosby announces that they were at dinner with a new friend and they have agreed that he needed to apologize. Also, the new friend wants to meet her – Jasmine is pregnant.
Sarah is with Hank and he has something to tell her, he doesn’t like to act impulsively but sometimes he has to do what is right – he is moving to Minnesota. This is not what Sarah was expecting. Hank goes on to tell her that he has never met anyone like her, she is very special. He goes on to say that he doesn’t want to an absentee dad.
Kristina has her scan and then heads over to the court to be with Victor who is having his celebration with the rest of the family. Max gifts Victor with a lizard. Amber tells Drew that she is very proud of him. Zeek tells the judge that they are going to be his grand parents, then Adam says something endearing about being his uncle, then everyone else one by one – until Victor is overloaded with love from hi new family. Max and Victor get a hold of the judges gavel and Adam has to stop them.
Hank was heading to the airport, he stops by to Sarah and brings her his camera and asks her to give it to Max. He then tells her that he loves her and maybe that is crazy, she tell him that she loves him too. In the next breath, he asks her to go to Minnesota with him because there are only two people he cares about and she is one of them.
Kristina is at the doctor’ office and she finds out that she is cancer-free, the abnormality was caused by the drugs she was taking. He goes on to tell her to enjoy her family, she thanks him for saving her life.
A little glimpse into the future: Ryan and Amber are looking at rings, Kristina goes for coffee with Gwen and hands down the blanket for chemo, Julia, Joel, Victor and Sydney enjoy movie and popcorn, Jasmine is having an ultrasound and Crosby, her mom and Jabbar are there with her, Hank and his daughter move into their new home, Kristina and Adam are in Hawaii. The episode left us with one question, does Sarah follow Hank.?
