There have been a lot of rumors surrounding the state of Tim McGraw‘s and Faith Hill‘s marriage lately, especially with new rumors surrounding the possibility that Tim’s actually gay.
It was revealed earlier this week that a former friend of Tim’s is deciding to publish a memoir concentrating on Tim’s ‘homoerotic hijinks’, including trysts with other men and alleged proof that Tim is gay.
Now, Tim’s team has already come forward and claimed that the tell-all implies that that all these practical jokes made Tim into a bisexual, which isn’t true. Apparently, Tim is proud of his gay fanbase, and he doesn’t mind being the stories coming out.
That may be all well and good, but how is all this going to affect his marriage to Faith Hill? The two have been rumored to be on the rocks for ages, although it’s hard to tell if those rumors were just tabloid created or if there was something to them. Although this is the first time gay rumors have popped up persistently, Tim is usually in stories about cheating or affairs, and he was linked to Taylor Swift just last week.
In the long run, there is no smoking gun in this situation like there is in the Paula Patton and Robin Thicke situation. We don’t have Tim grabbing a fan’s ass at a party and this tell-all book doesn’t even sound like it’s that scandalous.
What do you guys think? Are Tim and Faith having trouble? Their reps have steadfastly denied that anything’s wrong, but I’ve learned not to trust them with these stories. Why are the couple’s reps even acknowledging these stories if they are baseless? Of course, they could be completely fine and this could all just be drummed up by a well oiled publicity machine. Either that, or it’s a coincidence that Tim is suddenly in the tabloids so often.
